The Annual Post Christmas Party will be from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM on December 6th. There will be a Potluck Dinner, White Elephant Gift Exchange ($20 max), and an Ugly Sweater contest. Owner of the ugliest sweater will receive a prize. Also, Karaoke that night!

You can help people in hunger and, at the same time, raise funds for the Post now that Humana has partnered with the United to Combat Hunger Foundation. We can donate canned and other non-perishable items (small bags of beans, rice, dried milk, etc.). Place your donation in the box in the Canteen under the big TV screen. Humana will take the food to St. Mary’s Food Bank. The Post then receives a $1 per pound match from Humana’s UTCH Foundation Grant program up to $1,500 annually, until funds are exhausted. If you have any questions about this, please contact Emilie Baggett at 602-245-5496 or ebaggett@humana.com.

Do you think you can make some real good chili? The Chili Cook-Off is a fund-raiser for various Veterans’ charities, and it will be held at the Post on Saturday December 14th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The entry fee is $20.00 which includes the drink of your choice at the bar and all the chili you can eat! You can also vote for your favorite chili. The Chili Cook-Off Challenge entry fee is an additional $5.00 and the winner will receive a $50.00 gift card. There will also be music and a 50/50 raffle so come out and have some fun. Questions? Call “GQ” Sanders 480-747-3901.

Wine Night will be Sunday December 15th at 6:00 PM. Please bring an hors d’ oeuvres.

The Canteen will close at 5:00 PM Christmas Eve but the bar staff will be providing munchies, and you are welcome to brings some. The Canteen will close at 5:00 PM New Year’s Eve. Going forward the Canteen will open early only for Cardinals games, and we will have drink specials 30 minutes prior to the game.
